We have been designing and making our take on the Iconic American garden armchairs since 2010. We work and live in the beautiful hilltop village of Alpicella 8km from the Mediterranean Sea in Northern Italy. These chairs are a constant reminder that we need to take time to relax and enjoy our lives and surroundings. We make various models and finishes. These chairs are handmade in our workshop, made to order.Each piece is individually cut, routed and sanded, corners rounded off . The chairs are assembled and then screwed using stainless steel screws and bolts and glued using marine glue. We ship the chairs semi-assembled with the back and seat fully assembled. Very simple self assembly required.
All the wood we use are FSC certified. We recommend the painted and treated chairs be refinished every 2 years. The chairs are shipped semi-assembled with all bolts and screws supplied, included is a simple step by step, photo instructions and we are always on hand to offer help if need be. We use the finest quality outdoor paint and wood preserver but each environment is different and we cannot guarantee the finish will endure all weather conditions.
